A Wedding That Felt Like Tuscany

Alex and Nicola said "I do" at the breathtaking Morrhof – often referred to as Germany's very own Tuscany. Their wedding weekend began a day before the ceremony, as all of their guests traveled from Switzerland to check into the beautiful estate. The celebrations kicked off with a relaxed welcome gathering, giving everyone the chance to unwind, reconnect, and soak in the atmosphere before the big day.

On the wedding day itself, everything started at the stunning Pool House at Morrhof. Since Alex and Nicola exchanged their vows in the venue's Tuscan-inspired garden, the Pool House also served as the couple's private suite throughout the day.

Alex spent the morning getting ready with her hairstylist and makeup artist in the elegant styling lounge, while the boys enjoyed their own little pool party, soaking up the sun and sharing a few beers before the excitement began. Later, the groomsmen moved to the Garden House for their getting ready, while Alex and her maid of honor returned to the Pool House for the final touches before the ceremony.

The day seemed to pass in the blink of an eye—from the guests arriving at the beautiful fountain, to the emotional first looks with family, followed by the outdoor ceremony surrounded by olive trees. Afterward, everyone enjoyed a champagne reception featuring a spectacular champagne tower before gathering for dinner in the elegant Orangery. Every element of the day had been thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed.

The couple paid incredible attention to the smallest details. Guests were welcomed with refreshing lemon sorbet served inside real lemons during the cocktail hour, while the custom-designed bar menus featured illustrations of Alex and Nicola's beloved pets - personal touches that made the celebration feel even more unique and meaningful.

The luxurious floral design and styling by JJ's Flowers completed the entire experience perfectly, creating an atmosphere that felt effortlessly elegant. Combined with perfect weather and an incredible energy among the guests, the day couldn't have unfolded any better. The newlyweds' grand entrance was celebrated with waving napkins, loud cheers, and pure joy filling the room. Later that evening, the dance floor came alive as the DJ kept everyone on their feet until late into the night.

All in all, it was the perfect day for Alex and Nicola to celebrate their wedding at Morrhof. Their vision was clear from the very beginning: they wanted a joyful, vibrant wedding that truly felt like getting married in Italy. I'd say they absolutely achieved exactly that.
