It has only been a week since I photographed this same-sex wedding as I'm writing these words, yet I'm still struggling to fully describe what I witnessed. Max and Björn's wedding was the definition of a fairytale come true - exactly the gay wedding celebration they had envisioned for years.

The magnificent setting of the historic spa gardens in Bad Brückenau is breathtaking on its own, but the incredible vision brought to life by Max and Björn elevated the venue to an entirely new level. I've known Max for many years, and ever since I met him, he had dreamed of getting married surrounded by an endless sea of flowers. Looking at the photographs, it's safe to say that dream became reality.

Every moment of the day was filled with laughter, happy tears, heartfelt emotions, dancing, and an overwhelming amount of love. Rarely have I photographed a couple who kissed each other as often as these two, and I absolutely loved every second of it. It reflected their joyful personalities so perfectly and made every interaction feel genuine, spontaneous, and full of life.

One of the most emotional parts of the ceremony was listening to their personal vows. Both Max and Björn had spent an incredible amount of time writing them, and it was beautiful to witness how, without knowing what the other had written, they expressed almost exactly the same thoughts and feelings. It wasn't that anyone doubted they were meant for each other, but hearing those vows confirmed what every single guest already knew: these two were simply made for one another.

Speaking of their guests, the wedding featured one wonderfully unexpected detail. As the title already suggests, every female guest was invited to wear white and feel like a bride for the day. Rather than following tradition, Max and Björn wanted everyone to share in the feeling of celebrating love without boundaries. Meanwhile, the two grooms wore elegant tuxedos featuring white dinner jackets with black trousers before changing into sparkling black shirts later in the evening, perfectly matching the energy of the celebration as the party continued long into the night.
