The Tenuta Pinto provided the perfect setting for their big day. With a church ceremony in one of Italy's most magnificent churches and a celebration brimming with romance and elegance, their wedding day was an unforgettable experience.

The journey began with a church wedding at the breathtaking Saint Nicholas Church in Bari, located right by the water. This historic church, renowned for its impressive architecture, offered a spectacular backdrop for Nadeen and Basti’s vows. What made this moment even more special was the ceremony being conducted in German, creating an intimate and familiar atmosphere for the couple and their guests.
Picture the bride walking down the aisle with her father, surrounded by soaring ceilings, intricate frescoes, and the warm light streaming through vibrant stained-glass windows.

"If we’re by the water, we want photos by the water." With this wish, it was clear that we had to take advantage of the picturesque waterfront in Bari for their dream wedding photos. But we didn’t stop there—together, the couple and I wandered through Bari’s charming narrow streets, capturing beautiful and authentic moments.
As a wedding photographer, it’s my job to make couples feel like I know every corner of the city—even in Italy. This means thorough preparation. If I’ve never been to a location before, I explore it virtually using Google Street View, identifying picturesque spots and planning the best routes. My couples receive a tailored proposal and mood board to visualize how their day might unfold.
Getting Ready at the Wedding Venue
A major advantage of venues with accommodation is the ability for guests to stay on-site, ensuring a relaxed and seamless start to the day. The getting-ready moments were beautifully documented right at Tenuta Pinto.
Champagne Reception at Tenuta Pinto
After the beautiful ceremony, group photos, and the couple’s photoshoot, everyone returned to Tenuta Pinto for a delightful champagne reception. Surrounded by gorgeous olive groves, the venue offered a dreamy backdrop for the start of the celebrations.
The golden hour bathed the afternoon in a warm, magical glow, creating a perfect atmosphere. Guests sipped champagne, soaking in the ambiance and anticipating the enchanting evening ahead.

Getting married abroad
As a Destination Wedding Photographer I see a lot of different weddings.
But in today's world, getting married abroad is the most normal thing and also one of the
most beautiful experiences one can share with their guests. More and more couples opt for
a festive atmosphere in the South. From Portugal to Spain, Italy, Seychelles, and many more;
all these wonderful destinationsI have had the pleasure of accompanying weddings
abroad as a wedding photographer. The focus is always on capturing authentic moments
with a touch of editorial flair.
Indoor Dinner at Tenuta Pinto
As February evenings in Italy can be chilly, dinner was moved indoors at Tenuta Pinto. Every detail was meticulously planned by the wedding planner’s team.
The evening began with a spectacular entrance by the couple, complete with indoor fireworks. Live music enhanced the atmosphere during the meal. Adding a personal touch, Basti surprised Nadeen throughout the day, culminating in an incredible fireworks display during the cake cutting—a last-minute arrangement by the talented planner Lydia, bringing Nadeen to tears of joy.
An Evening of Fireworks and Dance
The celebration continued late into the night, with Basti surprising Nadeen again—this time with a movie-inspired Aladdin performance, complete with a cast of guests. Transforming into her “Jasmine,” Nadeen was swept off her feet by the magical show.
Live music featuring violin and saxophone ensured the dance floor stayed lively, with everyone joining in the celebration.
It was an evening full of joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments. The couple’s happiness was radiant, and their love touched everyone present. The unique blend of Italian elegance and German warmth made this wedding truly extraordinary.
