Wedding weekend of Samantha & Johnny in Italy
Arrived and instantly in love. No more words are really needed. But I’ll still try to give you a glimpse into the emotions you’ll experience if you plan to celebrate your wedding at the enchanting Castello di Montignano.
I had the honor of spending four days at this stunning wedding venue, capturing everything from the welcome gathering to the pool party, and I’m still in awe.
But see for yourself…
Capturing Memories
Capturing the wedding of S & J at Castello di Montignano
As a Destination Wedding Photographer I see a lot of different weddings. But in today's world, getting married abroad is the most normal thing and also one of the most beautiful experiences one can share with their guests. More and more couples opt for a festive atmosphere in the South.
I appreciate the opportunity to capture all these special moments for you guys!
Get together and eat Pizza
The evening before the wedding couldn’t have been more beautiful. All the guests came together dressed in "Just White." Such an evening is not only special for the couple, but it also helps the guests get to know each other and celebrate together. Often, the welcome gathering is only for a smaller group of guests, but there are no rules—whatever feels right for you is perfect for your wedding!
In the rose garden of Castello di Montignano, the wedding planner Daniela arranged a long table beautifully decorated with herbs and candles. Later, when the string lights were turned on, everything felt magical and simply enchanting. An old Ape vehicle was transformed into a pizza oven, giving everyone a culinary highlight. Honestly, it was the best pizza I’ve ever had! Paired with classic Italian music, the evening was just perfect.
The Wedding day in Umbria
After the amazing start at the welcome gathering, the next day began with the couple getting ready. The ceremony took place in the courtyard with a small, intimate group. It was simply magical! I don’t know why, but the light in Italy makes every wedding photo look enchanting.
Check out Samantha’s stunning outfit change! After the ceremony, she switched into a different dress.
Dinner around the Pool
After a relaxed champagne reception, all the guests were invited to dinner and the poolside party, where a modern and luxurious table setting awaited them. With tall chandeliers and a four-course menu, everyone was ready to dive into the party. The cake cutting and a champagne shower kicked things off. Let’s celebrate!
The wedding day in Italy couldn’t have ended more perfectly, and I must mention the incredible service at the venue. Castello di Montignano fulfilled every wish, was always available, and even helped with additional details to make the day perfect for the couple. #TeamworkMakeTheDreamWork
Samantha wore three gorgeous dresses on her wedding day. The first was for the First Look and ceremony. For the photoshoot and dinner, she wore a romantic Milla Nova wedding dress adorned with 3D butterflies. Finally, for the party, she chose a short, super-modern Milla Nova dress with puff sleeves.
The After-Wedding-Day Pool Party
Everyone had a wedding hangover and spent the last hours together by the pool. The pictures from this are just so cool!
Thank you, Castello di Montignano, for the amazing wedding. I’ll gladly come back to Italy to capture more weddings here and am so happy for every couple who chooses this hidden gem in Umbria for their special day!
Did you love this wedding as much as I did?
Then take a look at the wonderful team that made this dream wedding in Italy a reality!
